Description

I converted the color image using the BW conversion feature in Photoshop CS4. Then I cropped the image for composition, and tried to remove as many distracting elements as I could. I used the Dodge Tool to lighten and brighten the young girl & her flag. Then used the Burn Tool to darken the distracting flag, and also slightly, the man holding that flag. After that, I put a little blur on the man holding the flag by selecting him and applying a touch of Gaussian Blur.
